Go Green Grant Recipients Receive Letter of Congratulations from Michelle Obama
Last year, Poupard Elementary was a Go Green Grant recipient. They used their funding to help install a new vegetable garden. As part of the health and wellness initiative, Green Team leader, Cathy Rapp asked students to write First Lady Michelle Obama to share their success. These savvy girls were thrilled to receive a hand written reply from Mrs. Obama on official White House stationery congratulating them on their initiative and dedication to healthy eating. Way to go Poupard! We at PLP couldn’t be more proud of the success and hope your team will consider developing and submitting a Go Green Grant to help your projects come to fruition.
