2015/16 Go Green Grant Recipients

2014/15 Grant winners

2014/15 grant winners who promoted “no idling” on school campus.

It is with great pleasure we announce the 2015 Go Green Grant recipients!  On the heels of the Paris Climate Conference, we are proud to support amazing, local, initiatives that address Michigan’s environmental issues. The projects vary in scope from saving energy and water to addressing the plummeting Chinook salmon population in Lake Michigan.

We received a variety of grant submissions this year and it was challenging to select the top projects.  A special “THANKS” goes out to all the dedicated student clubs, staff and parents supporting sustainability in your schools!  Keep up the fantastic work!
Please join us in congratulating the following grant recipients and their projects:
  • University Prep School -Chinook Salmon Spawning
  • Scotch Elementary -Recycle Expansion
  • Poupard Elementary -Raised Garden Beds
  • St. Valentine -Motion Light Sensors
