I’m excited summer is here is and it’s time to start vermicomposting here in Michigan. Throughout the summer I will be sharing various facts and tips on the #1 way to recycle your food waste, compost.
It’s inexpensive and provides nutrient enriched “black gold” for our gardens. Throughout the winter I use a compost pile in my backyard, but composting with red worms, a.k.a. vermicomposting, is fun and a terrific way to speed up the decomposing process.
