Waterford Mott’s Students for Environmental Action (SEA) team received a $400 Go Green Grant to install a water bottle filling station. Reducing plastic bottle consumption by providing a healthy, better tasting, FREE, alternative is a terrific “green” action all students will benefit from. SEA creatively hosted a “reusable” water bottle fundraiser to help contribute funds to purchase machine.
PLP is proud to support this amazing student lead initiative. I have included a photo of the Acorn brand filling station. (Rumor has it it’s $200 less then Elkay.) Congratulations to Amanda Webb, who submitted the PLP grant, and the SEA team who made this idea a reality!
